To me, this screams “I don’t want Funny Halloween Witch-Regulators Mount Up Broomstick T-Shirt to make the situation better, I just want to call out when it’s bad.” I’ve personally been introduced to two different Jewish communities that took it upon themselves to educate me on their customs and invite me to share in them. Neither was to make up for some hatred I had shared, it was just out of kindness and openness – they’re more than willing, they’re excited. Don’t speak this kind of exclusive mindset for them. From everything I’ve witnessed, it’s completely contrary to their actions. Maybe there are some that are closed off to that kind of thing, but it only takes one to make an actual difference instead of just calling it out.
