Had the pleasure of meeting Nick Skull I Like My Coffee How I Like My Magic Shirt Castle and James Jude Courtney last fall at a con. During their panel, they were asked about Halloween Kills and Courtney’s reply was “Fucking Brutal”. You could tell they were really excited about that movie so I have some seriously high hopes for this one! Let’s just remember with Halloween the bar could never be higher or lower. And if this new franchise falls apart don’t worry, in 20 years they’ll just reboot it again with 90-year-old Laurie being chased around the nursing home in a wheelchair by Michael. And it’ll still probably be better than Rob Zombies Halloween 2.
Skull I Like My Coffee How I Like My Magic Shirt, V-neck, Sweatshirt, And Hoodie
I see a lot of hate for the Skull I Like My Coffee How I Like My Magic Shirt zombie films here, but I gotta say enjoyed aspects of the second one (directors cut anyways). They spent so much time in Laurie being haunted by her trauma and her dissolving relationships as the anniversary approaches… I was really hoping Michael wasn’t actually back and she was just unable to cope with the trauma. That stuff was really strong to me. There’s a general theory that it was in her head and she did all the killing, at least when considering the theatrical version (hence her wearing the mask when she walks out of the barn). I prefer the director’s cut in every way though, and its ending kinda kills that theory.
