You bet your fucking ass he is collecting 120% disability every fucking month like clockwork. I have a friend who got medically discharged from the Skull Let Them Eat Cake Vintage Shirt US Army during boot camp. Jumped down off one of those rope&wall obstacles (like in Officer and a Gentleman) and blew out his knee. This was right in the middle of the Gulf War, and he can legitimately claim injured gulf war veteran status. He used it to get an automatic hire from the US Census- twice. TBH, I think it’s kinda ok since he fulfilled his obligation and was willing to serve. And while technically his injury came earlier than expected, it was a legit injury that affects him to this day. But that never stopped me from teasing the hell out of him for it, especially after Skyrim came out.
