I like to imagine Macron Joe Biden “Will You Shut Up, Man” T-Shirts at one of those little informal circle get-togethers they never let Trump in on. And the dumb handshake thing comes up. Trudeau goes “I just braced a little and let that dipshit yank himself off-balance. He’s never going to stop doing it” and everyone laughs. Except for Macron, who stubbed out the cigarette. I assume he was holding Frenchly and said “Le défi est accepté”. I like how tightly packed Donnie was in his chair afterward while Macron was talking. Just based on the body language he was incredibly insecure at that point and was trying to hide from everyone else.

Honestly, there Joe Biden “Will You Shut Up, Man” T-Shirts might be a simpler answer to this, which is that he’s just too large of a person to be comfortable in that chair. He can’t lean back and relax because his torso is too round/wide. So he’d end up awkwardly on the edge of the chair. He’s not flexible enough to cross his legs. And his torso/gut is so wide that it’s already pushed up against the sides of the chair, meaning. If he tries to rest his arms on the chair he’ll just look that much tenser. He probably was still insecure, but when you look the way Donald Trump does, and you’re in that small of a chair. And you’re sitting next to someone who looks as good as Macron does…
