You have such great Official I Served My Country For My Children’s Future And I Would Fight Again Shirt coworkers! I’ve had coworkers who were so offended when I’d bring my own lunch on “free lunch” days. I didn’t want to force them to get me vegan food and was totally willing to sit and eat with them. They took it as me turning my nose up at their food choices. It’s similar to drinking. :p Sometimes, I just want water and an appetizer rather than a beer. Some people who drink don’t like a non-drinker at the table and make it miserable. So strange. Yeah, that is such a bizarre phenomenon how some people can get offended in those scenarios. I’ve had to explain to people that I WANT to bring my own meal along because I know it’ll be tastier than some veggie scraps offered at an event, but they just don’t understand it! This is soooo kind and considerate! My friends forget I’m vegan all the time lol. Big sigh. Oh well

Very cool! My mom’s Official I Served My Country For My Children’s Future And I Would Fight Again Shirt workplace (same company for 35 years) either gets her nothing (the norm) or something they know she can’t/won’t eat – like for her birthday. Love how on training were stuck all day they might have a salad as a side for lunch- of course, normally has cheese. They know and don’t care bc doesn’t affect them. Wow, that just really goes to show how those gestures of bringing in food for the employees doesn’t necessarily mean the employer CARES about the employee. And after 35 years too. That’s awesome! Haha, yes, I can totally relate! Although not EVERYONE at my job is willing to bake vegan goodies, everyone is at least open to trying ’em (and confirming they’re good), and never give me a hard time. Very grateful!
