I read this a couple of years ago and decided to teach my horse. Of course, she’s only in it for the I’d Like To Thank My Middle Finger For Always Being There Sticking Up For Me All Those Times Shirt snacks, but hey. After a few days of this, with grapes and other small treats a good yard away from my finger and my mare looking happily in the direction I pointed, it all fell apart because she started anticipating it and never giving me an unsupervised minute to hide the treats.
