Yeah, this is my feeling too. I know this is just less bad, though not to what extent since there is not nearly enough research. This has worked for a couple of friends of mine, I am shooting for another year of vaping at most. Hell I smoke cigars and pipe tobacco, I know it’s bad for me, but it’s a vice I enjoy, and for the anti-tobacco crowd who weighs 500lbs. Drinks soda by the gallon and eats at McDonald’s. To tell me what I can’t smoke and try to make me quit, annoys the hell out of me. But it pisses me off, even more, when they attack vaping under the same flag…studies like this are %100 biased and the scientist who do this crap should be shunned. Bias does not belong in science. PERIOD.

They’re complex substances and good reasons why this is probably the case due to other compounds in them that are beneficial. But the Original Bud Smoker Shirt logic that an isolated stimulant that increases heart rate and blood pressure is not good for the cardiovascular system is pretty straightforward. Nicotine also causes a variety of epigenetic changes as well. Hasn’t stopped me from vaping, but I don’t need a lot of nicotine to improve my focus, I already have very low blood pressure, and I don’t use it daily. It’s hard to say for sure, especially since I imagine not all vape formulations are the same. I’m sure my lungs aren’t in the best shape they could be. There are also dry herb vapes that don’t use oil at all.
